I did a series of fun illustrations and letterings to be used in online communications and packaging for YouTube Shorts Drive Thru at VidCon 2022. VidCon is the online video industry’s most notable annual gathering. This year, YouTube presented their newly released app Short by building a pop up Drive Thru inside the convention. There you could drive a golf-cart and pick up delicious goods. Shorts, "the shorter side of YouTube" played around the idea of snackeable content and materialised the analogy by offering a variety of snacks branded with YouTube creators. The Drive Thru was a colourful and fun activation to bring back that sugary feeling of excitement we had when we were kids going to our favourite fast food restaurant.
